The new Veolo Dog combines comfort, safety, and technology at the highest level – specially designed for dogs up to 35 kg. Weighing only 13 kg, it is probably the lightest suspended dog trailer in its class, despite a maximum payload of 80 kg.
With its low center of gravity, wide track, and smooth independent suspension, it remains stable, tip-proof, and comfortable for your dog, even on uneven terrain. During development, we focused uncompromisingly on driving characteristics and comfort: A low center of gravity, wide track, progressive independent suspension, and extremely stable construction allow the trailer to travel smoothly over rough terrain or through tight corners, even at speed. No tipping. No jolting. Just pure driving pleasure – for both of you.
Weighing just 13 kg and capable of carrying up to 80 kg of payload, it also offers the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. Combined with high-quality materials, precise German manufacturing, and a sporty, modern design, this trailer is more than just a means of transport – it's an upgrade for your active lifestyle.
coupling
Our standard coupling is compatible with the coupling from the manufacturer THULE and comes with a coupling piece for mounting on the wheel.
Alternatively, we offer the Weber connection, but without the coupling piece for mounting on the wheel. An adapter may also be required. We can help you with this in our bicycle trailer coupling section .
drawbar
As an alternative to our standard drawbar, we offer a swiveling drawbar for hand operation with 26- to 29-inch wheels. This can be folded upwards, allowing the trailer to be conveniently pushed by hand using the adjustable handle. Perfect for the last few meters or for maneuvering.
For smaller wheels between 16 and 24 inches, we offer the shorter compact drawbar.

- With e-bike: max. 25 km/h.
- Adjust speed to the dog, load and terrain.
- Braking performance in particular depends heavily on weight.

How do I get my dog used to the trailer?
- Start slowly, let the dog get in, and create a positive association with treats and praise.
- First short, quiet rides, then slowly increase.
- Build in breaks – the trailer should be a safe place to retreat.
Can I secure my dog in the trailer?
- Yes, there are loops at the front and back for attaching the dog leash.
Which dogs fit in the trailer?
- Dogs up to a maximum weight of 45 kg (for optimal driving characteristics).
- Maximum total payload: 80 kg .
- Internal dimensions of dog bed: 85 × 45–50 × 61 cm (L×W×H).

- Driving behavior depends on the weight and position of the dog.
- Start by driving slowly and practice braking and cornering.
- Tip: Test with spare weight before traveling with your dog.
Use as a cargo trailer
How is the conversion to a cargo trailer done?
- Remove the dog roof and dog bed using 4 hand screws (without tools).
- Load directly into the shell or use the 220 L transport bag.
Can I take additional luggage with me?
- The rear part can be separated as a luggage compartment
- Yes, light objects up to 5 kg can be attached to the two brackets.

Can the trailer be stored in a space-saving manner?
- Yes, the dog attachment is removable and the wheels and drawbar can be quickly removed.
- All parts can be stored in the trailer to save space.
- Result: flat and compact, perfect for the garage or basement.
Is the dog bed padded?
- Yes, the dog bed is thickly padded, specially designed for the trailer and included in the set.
Does the trailer fit in the car?
Yes, it can be disassembled flat and fits into the trunk of a mid-size car.
How do I clean the VEOLO Dog?
- Clean the trailer and textile attachment with water and mild soapy water.
- Textile attachment: not suitable for washing machine.
- Dog cushion: removable and washable separately.
Is the trailer weatherproof?
- Yes, it is very well ventilated and mesh protects against dirt and water.
- The interior dries quickly.
- An additional rain cover will be available soon – but is rarely necessary (almost every dog can tolerate a little rain).
