Who is allowed to ride with a bicycle trailer?
If you're not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They're located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.
Is the VEOLO suitable as a bicycle trailer for an e-bike or pedelec?
We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.
Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As a reminder, domestic return shipping is free.
What is the maximum load the VEOLO trailer can carry?
The cargo trailer can be loaded with up to 80 kg . However, please note that the standard elastomer medium can absorb loads of up to 50 kg. To ensure that the bike trailer optimally absorbs loads over 50 kg, you should retrofit the Elastomer Heavy .
Can I be seen clearly with the bike trailer in the dark?
Yes, the trailer is equipped with reflectors on the front, back and sides to improve your visibility in the dark. You can achieve even more visibility with our bicycle trailer rear light from SIGMA®INFINITY
How can I store my VEOLO Cargo to save space?
Absolutely! Thanks to the quick release axle, you can easily remove the 20-inch wheels in just two steps and store them in the aluminum tray, so that the trailer can be stored in the smallest of spaces - even vertically with the appropriate wall bracket .
How do I care for my VEOLO Cargo so that it stays beautiful and functional for a long time?
The bike trailer is robust and almost maintenance-free. Therefore, no maintenance is actually necessary.

How often do I need to have my VEOLO Cargo serviced?
Thanks to the durable aluminum construction with minimal wearing parts and high moisture resistance, the maintenance effort for the VEOLO Cargo is extremely low:
- Check regularly whether the axles are greased.
- Check the tread of your tires and their air pressure.
- Check that all parts of the trailer are secure.
If you notice any wear on the bearings, you can take the trailer to a specialist workshop for maintenance or send it directly to us.

How is the VEOLO trailer mounted on the bike?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.
Which bikes can the VEOLO Cargo be coupled to?
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Technical Details
Which rims (size) and wheels are mounted on the trailer?
The VEOLO trailer is equipped with two 20 inch wheels including aluminum rims. The rim size is 20" or 406 ERTO. The rim is approx. 25 mm wide and comes with a Schwalbe, Big Apple Raceguard tire.
Does the VEOLO bike trailer have suspension?
Yes, the VEOLO trailer comes with an elastomer suspension as standard, which provides optimal suspension for weights up to 50 kg. For more weight, you should upgrade to the Elastomer Heavy .
Safety & Specifications
How should I protect my VEOLO trailer from theft?
There are several options here:
- Instead of the THULE coupling, you can select the Weber axle coupling in the configurator - this is lockable.
- You can also use a long, preferably flexible bike lock to securely attach the trailer.
- The pack sack is already equipped with a lockable zipper.
How can I attach the pack sack to the trailer to prevent it from being carried away?
The bike trailer bag is attached to the trailer's aluminum tray with Velcro straps and belts. The trailer itself also has a lockable zipper. This means that both the bag and its contents are protected against theft.
Can I attach a visibility flag to the VEOLO trailer?
To ensure that drivers can quickly see that you are towing a trailer, you can attach a visibility flag to the bike trailer:
- Either directly on the insert tray
- Or over the 5mm holes on the frame.
What should I consider before setting off with the VEOLO Cargo?
- Check that the trailer is securely attached to your bike.
- Distribute the weight evenly within the allowable limits.
- Ensure optimal visibility with an additional bicycle trailer light.
- Make sure your brakes and tires are working properly before you attach the trailer and drive off.
