If needed, you can convert it into a cargo trailer with up to 60 kg payload. Comfortable for your dog, precise and fun to ride for you.
Why is the Veolo Dog so safe?
It is designed for maximum stability, control, and protection, both on the road and off-road: a robust aluminum frame with a wide track and inverted wheels, effective suspension for better traction, a low center of gravity for safe cornering, and a protected interior with linen attachment points, optimized ventilation, and rollover protection.
Can the Veolo Dog tip over?
The risk of tipping is very low due to the low center of gravity and wide track. Even at higher speeds around corners, the trailer remains stable, predictable, and well balanced.
How do I get my dog used to the trailer?
Start slowly and let your dog explore the trailer at their own pace, using treats, praise, and positive reinforcement. First, allow them to get in and out freely, then begin with short, calm rides, gradually increasing distance and duration. This way, the trailer becomes a safe, familiar place.
Can I secure my dog in the trailer?
Yes. The veolo Dog has integrated attachment loops on the lying surface to securely fix your dog's leash inside the vehicle.
Which dogs fit in the trailer?
The veolo Dog is designed for dogs weighing up to 35 kg. The interior measures 90×45×65 cm (L×W×H) and offers many medium-sized dogs enough room to sit, lie down, and travel comfortably. The veolo Dog is suitable, for example, for Beagles, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, French Bulldogs, or smaller mixed-breed dogs.
In addition to weight, the dog’s size and build are especially important. The dog should be able to sit and lie down comfortably without feeling cramped.
How do I convert the dog frame into a cargo trailer?
Quick and completely tool-free: Remove the cover using the four hand screws, detach the dog bed from the Fid-Lock® anchors. The carrier is ready.
Can the Veolo Dog carry additional luggage?
Yes. The rear area can be separated as its own luggage compartment. Additionally, light luggage up to 5 kg can be securely attached to the upper rubber bands, ideal for jackets, sleeping bags, or outdoor gear.
Is the Veolo Dog weatherproof?
Yes. The veolo Dog is built for year-round use: excellent ventilation plus protective mesh panels keep out dirt and splashes, and the interior dries quickly after getting wet.
